Russian State Duma Confident That Friendship Between Russia and Azerbaijan Will be Restored

Alexey Chepan, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee, has expressed confidence that over time, the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan will return to a friendly course.

According to him, despite the existing difficulties, cooperation between the two countries is significantly more beneficial than conflict, especially in the economic sector. “The prospects for developing friendly relations and economic interests are enormous. Warming up is inevitable; it’s just a matter of time. The current situation is complex, but gradually all issues will be resolved,” Chepan said in an interview with Pravda.
