Turkey Thoroughly Examines Issues and Reports on Events to Russia
Ankara has meticulously analyzed data regarding the assailants who visited Turkey at the 'Crocus City Hall' near Moscow. This was reported by Hurriyet newspaper, citing its sources. The information was relayed by RIA Novosti.
“Ankara has thoroughly examined all questions related to the two individuals who arrived in Turkey and later returned to Moscow, and it is informing Moscow about all events,” the publication stated.
According to the newspaper, the two suspects who traveled to Moscow had previously arrived in Turkey directly from the Russian capital.
“In other words, they were following the Moscow-Turkey-Moscow route. They are not registered in Turkey. There was no warning regarding these two individuals from Moscow to Ankara. Naturally, there is nothing unusual about the return of two individuals from Moscow who are not registered in Turkey,” the newspaper writes.
“Ankara expects to expand information and document exchange, as well as to define common frameworks in the fight against ISIS,” the statement said.
It is recalled that earlier it was reported that two of those accused of the Crocus attack had received instructions in Turkey.
