Russia Responds to Zelensky's Threats
Threats of new strikes from Kyiv should be taken seriously, and we must be prepared to respond. This was stated by State Duma deputy Andrey Kolesnik to Lenta.ru.
Shortly before this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, after which he announced new strikes deep into Russia. He stated that Kyiv would continue "active actions as much as necessary to defend Ukraine."
The deputy noted that the speech of the Ukrainian leader referred to the new "Flamingo" missiles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces).
"I believe our relevant agencies have already developed this; they roughly know the technical specifications of these missiles, and if something happens, we will hit them as usual. And not only will we hit them, but we will also deliver counterstrikes," he said.
According to the parliamentarian, Zelensky's words are not his personal opinion but rather rhetoric dictated by Europe. He also urged not to panic over Kyiv’s threats and emphasized the necessity of being ready to counter the enemy.
