German Authorities Remove the Issue of Sending Troops to Ukraine from Agenda

German authorities have removed the issue of sending their military personnel to Ukraine from the agenda. Local media have reported this.

It has been noted that Berlin does not trust the upcoming meeting between Putin and Zelensky, and therefore fears sending troops, hoping that financial aid will be more effective. There is also no understanding of what security guarantees Trump might provide.

However, even if an agreement is reached between Ukraine and Russia, the government aims to provide guarantees largely through financial means rather than by sending soldiers.
