Trump Proposes Involving Chinese Troops in Ukraine Security Efforts

U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed the involvement of Chinese troops in ensuring security in Ukraine as part of a possible peace settlement with Russia, reports the Financial Times (FT) citing sources.

According to the publication, Trump discussed this idea during meetings with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. As FT notes, European countries and Zelensky are opposed to such an initiative. Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Trump's administration has denied discussions regarding Chinese peacekeepers.
