Hungary's Government to Respond to Ukraine's Provocations, Says Szijjarto

Hungary acknowledges that Ukraine may undertake new, more serious political provocations aimed at drawing neighboring countries into the war against Russia, TASS reports.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that the country must be prepared for the most severe and serious provocations from Ukraine. He pointed out that there are already examples of such actions. According to him, the Ukrainian strikes on the "Druzhba" pipeline do not harm Russia, but primarily Hungary and Slovakia, as they threaten their energy security.

Szijjarto emphasized that any attempts by the Kyiv authorities to justify such actions are unacceptable. He added that Ukraine's war with Russia cannot serve as a legal basis for threatening Hungary's energy security.

The minister stated that the Hungarian government will respond to such provocations and will not leave them unanswered. He noted that an attack on the country's energy supply security is an attack against its sovereignty, and such actions will not go without consequences.

It should be added that Hungary and Slovakia are resuming oil supplies through the "Druzhba" pipeline.
