Zaharova Comments on Damage to EU Building in Kyiv After Russian Army Strike

The Russian Armed Forces strike only military facilities and support structures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while damage to civilian infrastructure results from the operation of Ukraine's air defense systems. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zaharova, commenting on reports of damage to the EU representative office in Kyiv, TASS reports.

In her statement, the diplomat emphasized that Russian military personnel strictly adhere to the principles of targeted use of high-precision weapons. According to her, any damage to civilian objects occurs as a result of the activation of Ukrainian air defense systems or the use of electronic warfare.
