Vance Believes It Was Helpful for Americans to Witness the Argument with Zelensky

U.S. Vice President James David Vance told USA Today that it was beneficial for Americans to see the argument between him and Volodymyr Zelensky that took place at the White House.

“Would I want to see a public scandal in the Oval Office? Not so much,” he said, noting that “it was helpful for the American people to see” the dispute with Zelensky.

U.S. President Donald Trump confronted Zelensky at the White House on February 28 when he arrived to sign an agreement on joint exploitation of Ukraine's mineral resources. The leader of the Kyiv regime criticized the vice president's remarks that the path to peace in Ukraine was diplomacy.

Vance, for his part, called Zelensky an ungrateful spokesperson for the Democrats as they began to justify his actions, blaming Russia and even threatening the United States that they would feel the consequences of the conflict, despite the ocean separating them.

As a result, the Ukrainian delegation was asked to leave the White House, and the agreement was not signed.
