U.S. President Donald Trump has clarified that the term "86" in mafia terminology means to kill.

In response to a reporter's question about whether he genuinely believes that former FBI Director James Comey has threatened his life, Trump replied, "86 is a mafia term that means 'get rid of them.'" Previously, the U.S. Department of Justice reported that former FBI chief James Comey has been charged with threatening the life of President Trump.

The reason stems from a photo posted on Instagram last May, which depicted the numbers 86 and 47 drawn in the sand. According to the allegations, the slang term "86" means to "get rid of" or "remove," while "47" symbolizes Trump's number in his presidency. Comey has denied the charges against him.
