Regulation of Automobile Transport between Armenia and China

The field of passenger and cargo transportation by automobile between Armenia and China will be regulated. The Armenian government approved the proposal to sign the agreement on "International Road Transport of Passengers and Cargo between Armenia and China" during today's meeting.

It has been noted that the area of passenger and freight transport by automobile between Armenia and China has not been regulated until now, which hinders the implementation of transport and economic cooperation between the two countries. The signing of this agreement is expected to resolve this issue.

"The agreement will contribute to the promotion of mutually beneficial economic and business ties between the two countries, the development of intergovernmental transport by automobile, and the expansion of cooperation within the framework of international transport corridors," the justification of the decision states.
