Supply of Bayraktar Drones to Ukraine Felt Painfully by Russian Society, Says Russian Ambassador
The Russian society feels painfully about the fact that Turkey is supplying strike "Bayraktar" drones to Ukraine. This was stated by Alexey Erkhov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Turkey, in an interview with the Turkish left-wing newspaper "Aydinlik," as reported by Ermenihaber.
"I am often asked how I feel about the supply of Turkish drones to Ukraine. To be honest, you cannot even imagine how painfully these supplies are perceived among the Russian public. The explanations of 'business is business' are not accepted, as your drones are killing our soldiers," the ambassador expressed.
Continuing his thoughts, the ambassador emphasized that, for example, Russia does not supply weapons to those who are fighting against the Turkish army. "By the way, let me point out. The country that claims to be a partner of Turkey has a custom of transferring a significant amount of weapons to those who are fighting against Turkish soldiers, and Ankara is not pleased with this. So why should we be okay with it?" the Russian diplomat posed a rhetorical question.
