I Call on Iran to Take Immediate Action: Their Country Will Never Acquire Nuclear Weapons - Rubio

The United States is prepared for direct dialogue with Iran to resolve disagreements over its nuclear program. This was announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“I call on the Iranian leaders to take the necessary steps immediately to ensure that their country will never acquire nuclear weapons, to choose the path of peace, and as a result, to contribute to the prosperity of the Iranian people,” said Rubio.

Additionally, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that if the European trio imposes sanctions against Iran, then all cooperation and interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency will be completely jeopardized and practically ceased.
