Russia Attacks Energy Facilities in Six Ukrainian Regions
Ofelya
Russian forces have carried out another massive strike on energy and gas transportation infrastructure in six Ukrainian regions: Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. "Damage is being assessed. Emergency and rescue services are working at the attack sites," reported the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.
Kiev has emphasized that Russia continues its deliberate policy of destroying Ukraine's civilian infrastructure ahead of the heating season, which is described as another act of energy terrorism against the civilian population.
According to preliminary data, Ukrainian units have destroyed 74 drones in the north, south, and east of the country, with 21 drone strikes recorded at nine locations.
