Israeli Air Force Kills Hamas Security Chief

The Israeli Air Force has eliminated Mahmoud al-Aswad, the head of the Hamas security apparatus in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

“An Israeli Air Force aircraft struck and killed terrorist Mahmoud al-Aswad, who headed the Hamas security apparatus in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.

According to the army's press service, al-Aswad was a “key figure in the Hamas security apparatus” and “served as an important source of information for the terrorist organization.”
