Threats Made to Open a 'Second Front' Against Russia, Says Kaladze

Representatives of Western countries have offered to supply weapons to the Georgian authorities if they open a 'second front' against Russia. This was announced to journalists by Tbilisi Mayor Kakhaber Kaladze.

"There have been direct threats, blackmail, and insults to open a 'second front' in the country. They promised to assist everyone and provide the necessary military equipment, and so on," Kaladze stated.

According to him, if necessary, the authorities are prepared to disclose the details of negotiations should evidence need to be presented. "However, in the interest of the country, it is better to leave everything as it is," he concluded.
