Record Eruption on the Sun: This Has Been the Largest Eruption of the Year

M-class eruptions continue to occur on the Sun, as reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

“A new strong eruption has been recorded on the Sun. The measured magnitude of the event on the accepted X-ray scale is M4.52. This is considered the largest eruption of the year,” the statement said.

It is noted that during one night, the Sun's activity has increased significantly based on current trends.
