Children Wake Up with Eye Burns: What Happened at a Russian Health Resort

In the "Kratovo" health resort near Moscow, children slept through the night with a quartz lamp turned on, resulting in eye burns. The management of the facility is reportedly concealing the incident from parents, according to Readovka.

The incident occurred during the night of July 10 to 11. Parents have filed a report to the police regarding the incident and have taken their children out of the resort. The establishment has already drawn the attention of law enforcement due to previous cases of violence and abuse against children.

It remains unclear why the institution has not been closed down.

Quartz lamps are primarily used in medical institutions for the eradication of infections. They are turned on for strictly regulated periods, and individuals are required to leave the area immediately.
