If Armenia and Azerbaijan Trusted Each Other, There Would Be No Need for Any Documents: Pashinyan

There is an epic phrase in public discourse: how can one trust Azerbaijan? This question is often raised, has been raised in the past, and will be raised in the future. However, it seems that the issue is about building trust drop by drop.

This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the annual working conference of the heads of Armenian diplomatic representations abroad.

“Moreover, I will say, if Armenia and Azerbaijan mutually trusted each other, there would simply be no need to sign any documents. Diplomacy in an environment of distrust is also about creating a point of trust or a theoretical opportunity,” Pashinyan said.
