Head of Gyumri Hospital Department Embezzles 11 Million Drams

During the investigation of a criminal case initiated by the Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, factual data has been obtained indicating that the head of the pediatric department of the "Gyumri Mother and Child Austrian Hospital" and nurses registered different children in the hospital under the guise of providing medical assistance within the framework of state orders and embezzled large sums of money through deception.

The Investigative Committee reports that during the investigation, it has been revealed that officials of the "Gyumri Mother and Child Austrian Hospital" presented falsified medical records to the unified information system of electronic health care, embezzling a particularly large sum of 11 million 26 thousand 100 drams. During the investigation, 10 million 159 thousand drams have been recovered for the damage caused to the state.
