Israel Attacks Southern Lebanon

Israel Attacks Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army has struck Southern Lebanon, launching an attack via drone in the area between the towns of Ramya and Bayt Lif. According to the Lebanese NNA news agency, there are no reports of casualties or injuries from the attack. The Israeli army has not issued an official statement on the matter.

It is worth noting that on August 22, an Israeli drone previously attacked the border village of Aita al-Shab in the Nabatiyeh province. Despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024, the Israeli army has been carrying out air and artillery strikes on Southern Lebanon almost every day.

Since the ceasefire began, Israel has violated it more than 4,300 times, resulting in at least 245 deaths and 513 injuries. Although Israeli forces have partially withdrawn from Southern Lebanon, they continue to maintain control over five strategic heights captured during recent battles.
