American Troops to Be Withdrawn from Iraqi Bases

The United States has decided to withdraw its troops from Iraq's Ain al-Asad and Victoria military bases and expedite the process of troop withdrawal from the country, reports Sky News Arabia, citing sources.

According to the television channel, American forces are beginning to relocate their personnel to Erbil and neighboring Arab countries' military bases.

“The Americans have informed their Iraqi partners that they will accelerate the troop withdrawal process and will not adhere to the timeline established in the framework agreement between the two countries,” the source said.
