NATO Countries Provide 99% of Total Military Aid to Ukraine

NATO member countries have supplied Ukraine with $50 billion in weaponry for the year 2024 and intend to increase the volume of assistance. This was announced by the chairman of the alliance's military committee, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

"NATO countries have provided 99% of the total military assistance. In 2024, this volume has reached $50 billion. As of January 1, 2025, we have already reached $33 billion, but by the end of the year, we will meet the previous figure. The forecasts are very optimistic. We intend to continue military assistance and even increase it," said the chairman of NATO’s military committee.

Dragone added that there is currently no discussion within NATO about sending military contingents to Ukraine. "That is at least premature. We know that the issue of contingents has already been raised by some countries, possibly on a bilateral basis. But, I reiterate, it is still in its embryonic stage," Dragone stated.
