Dust Concentration Exceeds Permissible Limit

The concentration of dust in the atmospheric air has exceeded the permissible limit. This was reported by the Hydro-meteorological and Monitoring Center.

In the city of Vanadzor, the area adjacent to Zatuyryan Street was noted on August 14, while the area near Heratsi Street did not exceed the limit. The adjacent area of Vardanants Street noted values on August 12 and 15.

In the city of Gyumri, values were recorded on August 10, while in Hrazdan and Ararat, the concentration did not exceed the limit.

It was also noted that the concentration of dust exceeded the permissible limit in several other areas: in the Center on August 16, 18-19, in Arabkir on August 15-16 and 18, and in Shengavit on August 15-16. In Nor Norq, the concentration did not exceed the limit.

The concentration of nitrogen dioxide has also exceeded permissible limits in the Center throughout the entire week, in Nor Norq on August 13-14 and 16-17, in Shengavit on August 13, while in Arabkir it remained within limits.

However, the concentration of sulfur dioxide did not exceed the permissible limit.
