Ukraine has proposed to purchase $90 billion worth of arms from the United States, including aircraft and air defense systems. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky following negotiations in Washington.
"The second point of the guarantees is the package of American weapons that we do not have. This includes, among other things, aircraft and anti-aircraft defense systems. In fact, there is a package with our proposals amounting to $90 billion," he stated.
Zelensky also confirmed that Ukraine has suggested supplying drones to the U.S., although he did not specify the quantity. "We have an agreement with the U.S. President that they will buy drones from us when we start exporting weapons," he noted.
