The President of France believes that the key aspect is the security guarantees provided to Ukraine, which Kyiv will receive within the framework of a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Russia.

According to him, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey are prepared to undertake actions to ensure air, maritime, and land security in non-frontline areas. “We want to be sure that this peace and this agreement will allow Ukrainians to restore their country and live in peace. We want to be sure that the day after the peace treaty is signed, they will have sufficient deterrence capabilities so that they are not exposed to double attacks, and that Europeans will live peacefully and securely,” Macron stated in an interview with LCI television.
