Options for Putin-Zelensky Meeting Venue Under Discussion, Says Caroline Levitt
The United States is discussing various options for a potential meeting venue between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt.
"There are several options currently being explored by our national security team with both parties," she stated during a routine press briefing for reporters.
Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump held a meeting in Washington with Volodymyr Zelensky and leaders from European countries. Shortly after, the American leader also reached out to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Russian presidential assistant Yuri Ushakov, the leaders of Russia and the U.S. have expressed their support for the continuation of direct consultations between Moscow and Kyiv.
