America's Hopes for Putin-Zelensky Meeting: Axios

The U.S. administration hopes that a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, could be organized by the end of August. This was reported by Barak Ravid, a journalist from the American Axios portal, citing sources.

“A source familiar with the situation revealed that there is hope for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky to take place by the end of August,” he wrote on platform X.

Earlier, it was reported that U.S. President Donald Trump stated he has begun preparations for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, which is expected to be followed by their trilateral negotiations.
