Zelensky Responds to Trump's Proposal to Surrender Crimea
Ofelya
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's call to abandon claims over Crimea, but has not presented specific plans and vaguely complained that Ukraine "should not have given up" Crimea in 2014. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"Crimea should not have been abandoned at that time," Zelensky wrote on his social media page.
Earlier, the U.S. President had stated that Zelensky could resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine by relinquishing his claims over Crimea and the idea of NATO membership for the country.
