Today There Will Either Be a Deal or Support for Ukraine Will Be Halted, Says US President

US President Donald Trump announced during a meeting at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Washington will cease its support for Kyiv if a peace deal is not reached. The broadcast is conducted by C-Span.

“Today there will either be a deal, or support for Ukraine will be halted,” Trump stated.

The White House leader mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Zelensky wish to end the conflict.

It should be noted that Zelensky and Trump are in negotiations at the White House. Prior to this, the US President stated that Zelensky could resolve the conflict with Russia if he recognizes Crimea as Russian and abandons NATO membership.

Additionally, the leaders of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Finnish President Alexander Stub have also arrived in Washington.
