Europe Unable to Assist Ukraine Without America

European countries cannot provide military assistance to Ukraine without the U.S. defense industry, as their own capabilities in this area are running short-term, reports the Euractiv portal, citing a NATO official.

Earlier, Ukraine's Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal announced that the United States and NATO are launching a new mechanism to support Ukraine through the "Priority Needs List for Ukraine" (PURL) initiative. This mechanism aims to ensure the rapid supply of systems and weapons to Ukraine, which can be acquired in substantial quantities from the United States.
