Weather in Armenia for the Coming Days

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from August 14-17, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions after noon, with a possibility of hail. On August 18, dry weather is anticipated. This information is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that during thunderstorms, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are expected. In the evening hours, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are anticipated in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn.

The air temperature is not expected to change significantly.

In Yerevan, dry weather is expected on August 14-15 and 17-18. On the evening of August 16, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city. During thunderstorms and in the evening, wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected.

The Ararat Plain, as well as the foothills of Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk, along with Yerevan, are expected to face a high fire risk situation over the next five days.
