In Which Regions of Armenia Are More Divorces Registered?

In the first half of this year, 6,388 marriages and 2,352 divorces were registered. This information comes from the data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

According to the statistics for the first six months of 2025, there is one divorce for every 1,000 marriages registered, amounting to 368 divorces. This figure shows a sharp increase compared to the same period last year, where 294 divorces were recorded for every 1,000 marriages from January to June 2024.

The highest number of divorces was reported in Yerevan, followed by Kotayk, Ararat, and Armawir. April recorded the highest rate of divorces.
