Rain and Thunderstorms: What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days

Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in various regions of Armenia today and tomorrow evening, with a possibility of hail. This was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

During thunderstorms, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are anticipated. "From August 13 to 16, during the evening hours, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn. The air temperature is not expected to change significantly," the statement said.

Rain and thunderstorms are also anticipated in certain areas of Yerevan during the evenings. Wind speeds during the thunderstorms could reach 14-18 m/s.

In the capital, daytime temperatures will fluctuate between +32-34 degrees Celsius, while at night they are expected to drop to +18-20 degrees Celsius.
