In Which Cities of Armenia Has Dust Concentration Exceeded Permissible Standards
Atmospheric dust concentration in Armenian cities between August 3-9, 2025, has exceeded permissible limits. This was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
In Vanadzor city, the adjacent area of Tzaturyan Street did not exceed the limits; however, the area near Heratsi Street exceeded limits on August 3, 5, and 6, and the area near Vardanants Street exceeded on August 3, 7, and 9.
In Alaverdi city, the Sanahin plateau and the adjacent area of Gay Street exceeded limits on August 9. The area near Sayat Nova Street did not exceed limits, while the area near Debed Street exceeded on August 9.
In Hrazdan city, concentrations exceeded limits from August 5-9.
In Yerevan, the atmospheric air quality from August 6-12, 2025, saw dust levels exceed permissible limits, in the center for almost the entire week, in Arabkir from August 7-10, in Nor Nork from August 8-10, and in Shengavit on August 8.
Nitrogen dioxide levels also exceeded permissible limits, with the center being affected all week, Nor Nork from August 6-8 and 10-12, while Shengavit and Arabkir did not exceed limits.
The concentration of sulfur dioxide did not exceed permissible levels.
