Fire in Akunk Village

On August 9, at 18:39, the emergency management center of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department received a report about a haystack burning on Barekamutyun Street in Akunk village.

Two firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 19:11 and extinguished by 22:40. Approximately 700 hay bales were burned in the backyard of one of the houses on Barekamutyun Street.
