The Transit Corridor Will Eventually Include Railways, Oil and Gas Pipelines: The Guardian

The British reputable newspaper The Guardian has also commented today on the meeting in Washington between Prime Minister Pashinyan, President Trump, and President Aliyev, focusing on the potential agreements being signed.

According to the publication, it is expected that the transit corridor will eventually include railways, oil and gas pipelines, as well as fiber-optic lines that will allow for the transportation of goods and, eventually, people.

It is also reported that under the agreement, funding for the construction will not be provided by the United States; instead, private corporations will be allowed to invest.

Recall that in Washington, Prime Minister Pashinyan will hold a bilateral meeting with President Donald Trump to deepen the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States, as well as a trilateral meeting with President Trump and President Ilham Aliyev aimed at promoting peace, welfare, and economic cooperation in the region.
