The Investigation into Rubik Hakobyan's Case Has Concluded: He Has Been Arrested

The investigation into the case of Rubik Hakobyan, who allegedly made calls to seize power, has concluded at the Main Department for Investigating Crimes Against the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee.

During the investigation, public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Hakobyan under Article 422, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (public calls aimed at seizing power, violating territorial integrity, renouncing sovereignty, or violently overthrowing the constitutional order). He has been subjected to detention as a measure of restraint.

The criminal case has been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion.
