India to Collaborate with Russia, Not the U.S., Expert Says

India is inclined to cooperate with Russia in the defense sector rather than the United States. This was reported by Balaji Chandramohan, an expert at the Institute for Defensive Research and Analyses of India, as cited by RIA Novosti.

“India is receiving defense technologies from both Russia and the U.S. We do this because the U.S. and Western countries do not provide us with the technologies we need. At the same time, the Russians provide us with the technologies that are truly necessary for our defense. Thus, we must prioritize Russia when it comes to our own defense priorities,” he stated.

Discussing the offer from the U.S. to supply India with fighter jets and F-35s, the expert noted that Russia has already supplied fighter jets to India, and Delhi is not planning to give them up.
