Court of Appeals Declares Searches in Narek Karapetyan's Residences Illegal
The Court of Appeals has deemed the searches conducted in the residences of Narek and Lilith Karapetyan as unlawful.
According to lawyer Armen Feroyan, appeals were filed against the decisions made by judges Davit Arghamanyan and Masis Melkonyan of the first instance court, granting permission for the searches on August 8, 2025. These special reviews were upheld, resulting in the annulment of the court orders made by the aforementioned judges.
Judges Vazgen Rshtuni and Armen Bekhtashyan of the RA Court of Appeals have essentially confirmed that the rights of Narek and Lilith Karapetyan were violated by these decisions. Therefore, the appellate court established that the searches in the specified residences were evidently illegal.
