Car Explosion in Yerevan: 3 of 6 Injured are Children

Today in Yerevan, around 14:00, an explosion occurred in a "Kia Forte" vehicle on Acharyan Street under unknown circumstances. This was reported by Shamshyan.

According to the news outlet, following the explosion, a fire broke out, and six individuals, including three children, sustained varying degrees of burns and were transported to the National Burn Center.

Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, and according to bystanders at the scene, the emergency medical team of Yerevan's 1-03 dispatch acted swiftly, along with the rescuers from the 11th firefighting-rescue squad of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the vehicle’s owner, driver, and the injured parties.
