Major Fire in Armavir Province: Residents Evacuated

On August 6, at 06:42, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report of a fire breaking out in one of the buildings on Spandaryan Street in the city of Vagharshapat, Armavir Province.

Emergency response teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene, deploying four fire-fighting units from both Yerevan and the regional rescue departments, along with a fire ladder and a duty group from the division responsible for organizing firefighting and rescue operations.

According to preliminary reports, the fire ignited in one of the apartments on the third floor of the building. As reported by Shamshyan, firefighters evacuated 7 individuals, with 6 being assisted using a civil transport vehicle (including 3 children).

The fire was contained by 07:23 and extinguished by 07:39.
