The Most Powerful Eruption Occurred on the Sun in August

Another strong eruption has occurred on the Sun, marking the most powerful among five class M eruptions that took place in August. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is noted that the eruption began at 18:46 Moscow time and concluded at 18:58, receiving an M4.4 index. This is the fifth class M eruption on the Sun since August 3. The first of these, reaching M2.9, was the strongest in a month and a half.

Currently, the Sun has passed its peak of activity and is in a phase of retreat.
