Forest Fires in Turkey Remain Uncontrolled

A wildfire has erupted in a forested area near the village of Arıcak, located in the center of Karabük, Turkey, due to unknown causes. Following the report, firefighters and forestry watering vehicles have been dispatched to the area.

The battle against the fire, which covers high and steep terrains, is ongoing. Aircraft, one helicopter, 13 watering vehicles, 6 first response vehicles, and a crew of 64 have been sent to the scene. Firefighters continue to make efforts to bring the blaze under control.
