Armen Nurbekyan Clarifies Why the Arqa System Malfunctioned

The device that caused the malfunction of the 'Arqa' system is currently being investigated by the manufacturer. This was stated by Armen Nurbekyan, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, during a conversation with journalists.

"The reason for the disruption of the operation of the 'Arqa' payment and settlement system was the failure of the device. It is a device provided by a reputable foreign company. Now we need to understand the cause of the malfunction in order to avoid such situations in the future," Armen Nurbekyan mentioned.

Currently, the manufacturer of the device has come to Armenia to understand and explain the issue.
