The United States and Israel Have a New Plan Against Hamas

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are planning to present an ultimatum to the radical Palestinian Hamas movement. This was reported by The New York Times.

According to its information, Israeli authorities are demanding that Hamas immediately release all Israeli hostages. It is expected that the radicals will also be forced to return the bodies of 30 deceased hostages. In addition, Israel and the United States demand that Hamas agree to disarm and cease armed struggle in the future.

Hamas spokesman Mahmoud Mardawi told the newspaper that the movement would not agree to disarm. “This has been our demand from the beginning: the end of the war, the release of prisoners, and future agreements in the Gaza Strip—a clear and comprehensive accord,” he said.
