Peskov on Possible Escalations in Russian-American Relations
In the context of U.S. President Donald Trump's statements, the Kremlin does not believe there is any escalation. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"It is clear that the topics currently being discussed are very sensitive and are, of course, perceived emotionally by many. At this moment, there is no kind of escalation in Russian-American relations," said Peskov.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, offensive statements had been made by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, and U.S. President Donald Trump. According to the U.S. president, the United States must be prepared for scenarios where discussions of nuclear weapons will begin.
