Part of Vanadzor-Alaverdi Road Closed

Part of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road is closed for heavy vehicles, only one lane is available for passenger transport. The section of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road between kilometers 41-42 is closed for heavy trucks and is accessible only in one direction for passenger vehicles.

According to the Road Department, due to road construction work, starting from July 4, traffic will be diverted from the M-1 interstate road (Yerevan-Gyumri) at kilometer 38+030 (near Ujan) to the newly constructed North-South road.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
