Papoyan on Jennifer Lopez's Yerevan Concert

According to the organizers of Jennifer Lopez's concert, 15,000 tourists have arrived in Armenia, along with 69 trucks. This was reported by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on his Facebook page.

“In 2024, the Ministry of Economy published a 'visits research' study by an Italian-Armenian consortium, which showed that those traveling to Armenia with a tourist package spend an average of $888. Therefore, based on this study, we can assert that for the $6 million spent on this concert, we received more than $13.3 million in return. Moreover, this amount does not include many other effects, such as those arising from the country's promotion,” Papoyan wrote. He added, “I think it would be wonderful if we have several performances by such stars in Armenia annually.”

Earlier, Papoyan posted a video on his Facebook page, saying, “This is how it is: the important thing is, people are happy, so everything has been done correctly.”
