Lake Sevan Water Level Dropped
The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has reported on the hydrological regime of Lake Sevan for the period from July 28 to August 3, 2025.
During this time, the water level of Lake Sevan decreased by 2 cm, reaching 1900.60 m as of August 3, 2025. This level is 6 cm lower than the same day last year, but it is 21 cm higher than the level on January 1, 2025.
From July 28 to August 3, 2025, the volume of water transferred to Lake Sevan through the Arpa-Sevan water transfer amounted to 0.975 million cubic meters, while from January 1 to August 3, 2025, a total of 98.637 million cubic meters was transferred.
According to the data from the Geghamavan observation point of the Hrazdan HPP, the volume of water released from Lake Sevan between July 28 and August 3 was 10.286 million cubic meters. The total release from June 6 to August 3 amounted to 107.901 million cubic meters.
