A 5.8 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Kamchatka Again
A 5.8 magnitude earthquake has struck the Kamchatka region, according to the local branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The earthquake was recorded at approximately 3:50 AM Moscow time, with the epicenter located 144 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Earlier, at 1:03 AM, specialists reported a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in the same region. It is worth noting that a strong earthquake had previously been recorded near the Kamchatka Peninsula.
